2010 Fall Golf Tourney
The Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Department held its 4th Annual Golf Tournament at the Captain's Cove Golf & Yacht Club on Sunday, September 19th. We had sixteen (16) teams play in the tourney this year. Registration began at 8:30 a.m. and the scramble began at 9:30. Teams were served ice cold beverages and hot dogs during play and all enjoyed delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, with sides after the tourney. G.V.F.D. would like to thank all of our sponsors for this event; it would not have been successful without the outstanding support that we received from numerous businesses and individuals alike. We also extend our gratitude to the Captain's Cove Golf & Yacht Club, and their employees - for providing the course and assisting us during the tournament. And, last but not least - a very special thanks the 64 players, who all hopefully enjoyed themselves on such a beautiful day.

Closest to the Pin - Wayne Collins (Recieved 4 rounds of golf at Great Hope - Westover, Md.)
Straightest Drive - Josh Williams (Recieved 4 rounds of golf at Nassawango Country Club - Snow Hill, Md.)
