Pocomoke City Christmas Parade - 11/29/2010

G.V.F.D. named Best Overall Fire Company at annual Parade - Pocomoke City, Md.
On Monday, November 29, 2010 Pocomoke City hosted its annual Christmas parade. It is known as one of Maryland's largest nighttime parades. G.V.F.D. received two (2) top awards - Best Appearing Fire Company and Best Appearing Antique Equipment.  Station 2 is very proud to win these awards. Appearing in the parade from G.V.F.D. were Little Miss Greenbackville - Harley Marshall and Miss Greenbackville - Christian Hall, chauffeured by Denise Johnson, Antique Engine 2 (1950 Seagrave), Unit 2-9, Ambulance 2-1, Engine 2-3 and Truck 2.  Thanks to all those who helped clean and prepare the apparatus to appear in the parade.
