Fire Prevention Week - G.V.F.D. visits the Agape Christian Children's Center
On Friday, October 8, 2010 members of Station 2 had the privilege of visiting the Agape Christian Children's Center located on Fleming Road in Horntown, during National Fire Prevention Week. During the presentation the children were taught various rules of Fire Prevention and all received a complimentary bag, stuffed with materials to take home. Fire-Medic S. Leonard, FF/EMT A. Northam, FF/EMT S. Northam and FF/EMT B. Justice staffed Medic 2-2 and Engine 2-3 for the demonstration. We want to thank the entire staff of the Agape Center for their gracious hospitality during our visit, and thanks for inviting us again this year.
