6-28-09 - Station 2 assisted Stockton V.F.C. - Worcester County Station 200 with the controlled burning of a large three (3) story chicken house, in Stockton. Units assembled at Station 200 at 0800 hrs and attended a briefing by the Incident Commander - Chief 250 (N. Payne). Companies participating were: Worcester Stations 200 - Stockton, 300 - Girdletree, 100 - Pocomoke, 400 - Snow Hill, 700 - Ocean City and 800 - Showell. From Accomack County: Station 2 - Greenbackville and Station 1 - New Church.  The primary water supply was a 49,000 gallon capacity tank located at Station 300 - Girdletree, and the secondary water supply was established at Station 200.  A total of six (6) tankers, including Tanker 2-7 participated in the rural water shuttle operation. During the training exercise GVFD's Engine 2-3 and Truck 2 were available for emergency response at Stockton's fire station.
