May 1, 2010 - Del-Mar-Va Parade, Parksley, Virginia
G.V.F.D. members attended the Del-Mar-Va Volunteer Firemen's Association Convention & Parade that was held in Parksley on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Station 2 personnel cleaned and detailed Ambulance 2-1, Tanker 2-7 and Rescue 2 to appear in the parade. We would like to congratulate the officers and members of the Parksley Volunteer Fire Company, commemorating their 75th Anniversary and a special thanks for hosting the parade.
It was the first time in several years that ALL of the Eastern Shore of Virginia's Fire departments participated in a Del-Mar-Va parade...What a great accomplishment!
