EVOC - 2010

Several members of the G.V.F.D. took the Emergency Vehicle Operator's Course (EVOC) this past weekend.  The 2-day class was held at Station 3 - Chincoteague.  The classroom portion was held on Saturday, August 14th and the driving portion was held at the Chincoteague High School on Sunday, August 15th.  Personnel attending from Station 2 included: Roddy Rodriguez, Lura Rolleston, Mitchell Hines, Lynn Hines, Diane Massey, Ashley Northam, Shelby Northam, Derek Tomek and Philicia Northam.

We extend our gratitude to the Officers & Members of the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company for co-hosting this course; and we offer a special thanks to Virginia Fire Programs Instructor Jimmy Hickman, for coming from across the bay to teach this class.
