MVC - Fleming Rd 5/14/11

On Saturday, May 14, 2011 Stations 2, Worcester 200 (Stockton, Md.), 1 (New Church and 4 (Atlantic) were alerted to respond to MVC with possible entrapment on Fleming Road, in the area of Sign Post. Rescue-Engine 1 arrived on location to find a single vehicle off the roadway, confirming no entrapment. Chief 1 (H. Rowell) established Fleming Road command and canceled Worcester 200 and Station 4. Paramedic 2-1 and Engine 2-3 arrived shortly thereafter, and command was transferred to Chief 2 (B. Outten). The crews of Engine 2-3, Rescue-Engine 1 and Engine 1-4 provided traffic control. Paramedic 2-1 transported one patient to PRMC. Virginia State Police (VSP) investigated the accident.
