10-3-09 - The Greenbackville V.F.D. held an Open House during the 7th Annual Greenbackville-Franklin City Olde Tyme Days Event; to recognize national Fire Prevention Week. Highlights included the Fire Safety House, Fire Prevention materials and antique fire trucks on display. We would like to thank the Stockton and Atlantic Volunteer Fire Companies for bringing their apparatus to the event; and we extend special gratitude to member Tom Sharpley, and wife Vicky, for bringing Antique Engine 2. Past Chief Charles Bodley and all of the children and members throughly enjoyed the rides around town -- Thanks to all who attended!
