Vehicle Fire 4-29-10

Station 2 was alerted to respond to a reported Vehicle Fire on Fleming Road, near Dea's Chapel Church in Horntown. Engine 2-3 arrived on the scene to find a logging skidder well involved, Captain 2 established Fleming Road command. Personnel extinguished the fire and wet the surrounding area. Units responding were: (Greenbackville) Engine 2-3, Brush 2, Ambulance 2-1 and Tanker 2-7 {cancelled enroute}; mutual-aid Tanker response (New Church) Tanker 1-7.
